HEXHAM is our handcrafted eyewear collection — one beautifully proportioned unisex frame, made to measure, engraved with the name of the town it comes from. Every pair is handcrafted in England from premium Mazzucchelli acetate and fitted personally by our GOC-registered opticians at 1 Cattle Market, Hexham.
This is not a mass-produced frame. There are no shortcuts in how it is made and no compromises in how it fits. If you have ever worn a pair of glasses that felt as though they were made for someone else, HEXHAM is the answer to that.
One Frame. Six Expressions.
The Hexham is available in three colours — tortoiseshell, black and clear quartz — each offered in both polished and matte finishes. Six versions of one considered classic silhouette. Choose the one that is yours.
Tortoiseshell polished is warm, timeless and endlessly wearable. Tortoiseshell matte is the same richness with a quieter, more contemporary edge. Black polished is sharp and confident. Black matte is minimal and architectural. Polished clear quartz is light, distinctive, and fashion-forward. Clear quartz matte is cool, calm, and unlike anything else you will find on the high street.
Made to Your Measurements.
Every pair of HEXHAM frames is made to the wearer's precise measurements. Not a standard size. Not a close fit. Your measurements, your frame.
During your fitting appointment, our opticians will take careful measurements of your face — pupillary distance, temple length, bridge width and frame depth — to ensure your HEXHAM frames sit exactly as they should. Prescription lenses are fitted as part of the process. Single vision, varifocal, tinted or clear — all prescriptions are available.
Your frames are then handcrafted in England and ready for collection within two to three weeks. Each pair arrives engraved — Hexham on one temple, Handcrafted in England on the other.

HEXHAM frames are available exclusively by fitting appointment at Little Spectacle Shop, 1 Cattle Market, Hexham. Appointments take approximately 45 minutes and cover everything — measurements, colour and finish selection, prescription confirmation and lens choice.
